How Do I Set Up the Tool@rrest Tool Lanyard?
The Tool Arrest Retracting Kevlar Tool Lanyard is simple to set up with just a few steps:
- Weigh the tool you want to attach to the tether and make sure it is under the safe working load (2.5kg)
- Use the clip on the plastic frame to secure the lanyard to your belt or harness
- Open the carabiner and secure it to a tool holder/tether or directly to a tool
How Does It Work?
The Tool Arrest Kevlar Tool Lanyard is easy and safe to use. Here's how it works:
- When you pull the tool away from the lanyard, the cord will automatically extend and give you slack to work
- Once you have enough slack for whatever job you are doing, press the lock button to stop the cord auto-retracting
- When the job is done, press the button again to unlock the cord and gently lead the tool back to the lanyard to hang
