What Can the Jetstream Dust Welder Kit Do for Me?

- Portable: Waist mounted respirator unit for portable protection, provides 180 litres per minute of filtered air
- Impact Protection: Faceshield offers protection against medium energy high speed particles, travelling at 120m/s, molten metal and liquid droplets
- Autodarkening Lens: Lens adjusts transmittance depending on light generated by welding
- Filter Protection: A2PSL Filter offers protection against both gases and dust, with an assigned protection factor of 20x workplace exposure limit for very fine dusts, fumes, fibres and aqueous mists
Who Can Use the Jetstream?
The kit is ideal for welding purposes for several reasons. The face shield and glasses will protect you from liquid metal impacts and will alter their light transmittance depending on the welding glow, thus shielding your eyes. The PSL filter will protect you from the fine metal dusts and fumes that often result from welding.

What Do These Certifications Mean?
- EN 12941: This standard specifies whether a powered filtering device incorporating a helmet or hood with gas, particle or combined filter meets the minimum requirements for respiratory protection
- EN 175: This standard specifies the requirements for eye and face protection for welding and related processes
- EN 379: This standard stands for lenses with automatic welding filters that switch their luminous transmittance to a lower predetermined value when an arc is ignited
- EN 166: This standard specifies the requirements for protective eyewear
