The JSP Jetstream Construction Helmet and Respirator Kit with A2PSL Filters offers impact protection in the form of both helmet and visor, shielding the wearer from any flying or falling objects. The supplied A2PSL filter will protect you from high concentrations of dust, fibres, gases and vapours, such as carbon monoxide.

Who Can Use the Jetstream?

The kit is designed for use in the construction industry where impact, respiratory and eye protection are all required. The supplied A2PSL filter is suitable for tackling gases and vapours as well as dust and fibres, for instance solvent vapours or carbon monoxide. The glasses and helmets will shield you from falling or flying objects.

What Certifications Has the Kit Received?

The kit has undergone a variety of tests so you can be sure of your safety at work. It has achieved the following certifications:

• EN 12941
• EN 397
• EN 166

What Do These Certifications Mean?

• EN 12941: This standard specifies whether a powered filtering device incorporating a helmet or hood with gas, particle or combined filter meets the minimum requirements for respiratory protection
• EN 397: This standard certifies that piece of headwear offers protection against falling objects which might result in injury
• EN 166: This standard specifies the requirements for protective eyewear

When the filter is fitted the kit will protect against organic vapours and gases, for instance carbon monoxide or solvent vapour. The filter also offers protection from fibres, fine dusts and aqueous mists. The safety helmet is certified as protecting your skull and brain from impacts and the lenses will shield your eyes.
