The Traega HT3B Harness is designed to be used as part of a fall arrest system. It has three attachment points, providing comfort and higher manoeuvrability, which makes it suited to working at height.
What Is Fall Arrest?
Fall arrest systems attempt to prevent the risk of falling completely, by arresting the fall in a safe and steady manner. Careful consideration is set up to work this systems, as adequate distance between the users fall height and the floor needs to be considered. Furthermore, a rescue plan is required as in the event of a fall, suspension over a prolonged period is dangerous.

How Safe is the HT3B Fall Arrest 3 Point Harness?

- EN 361: Full body harness - This standard states that the harness has passed the free fall test where 100kg is dropped in the harness.
- EN 358: Work positioning - Confirms that the work positioning belt and lanyard have withstood a static force test for more than three minutes.
How Do I Put on the Traega 3 Point Harness?
The harness includes detailed User Instructions that we recommend reading before putting it on. But below is a quick, easy guide on how to wear the HT3B:
- Hold the back dorsal ring of the harness and shake to untangle the straps. Nothing should be bucked or twisted.
- Slip one shoulder strap over one shoulder and pull the other strap around your back and over the other shoulder (like putting on a jacket).
- Pull one leg strap between legs and connect to to opposite end on same side. Repeat with other leg.
- Fasten chest strap snugly above nipple line. Secure excess strap through web keepers.
- Adjust shoulder straps with two adjusters. They should be the same length.
- After all straps have been tightened and harness fits properly, secure all excess straps through the web keepers.
