The UCi Traega RL1.5 1.5m Restraint and Positioning Lanyard stops the user reaching a point where they could fall and makes it easier for them to move around safely. It also features sturdy plastic eyelets to reduce wear between the lanyard and carabiners in order to increase its life.

How Do I Use the Traega Elasticated Lanyard?

- Someone qualified should undertake a pre-use check on all equipment and a rescue plan should be in place in case of emergency
- First make sure you are wearing an EN361 certified safety harness
- Secure the connector of the lanyard to the harness according to harness instructions
- Connect one of the scaffold hooks of the lanyard to an anchor point with a minimum resistance of 12kN
