EN Compliance of the Uvex U-Cap

The Uvex U-Cap is tested to EN standards to ensure the highest possible level of performance. The standards to which the Bump Cap applies are as follows:

• EN 812 (Industrial Bump Cap Protection): Unlike hard hats, bump caps are intended to protect the wearer only from static objects (e.g. hanging obstructions). As such these impact tests are carried out in a similar fashion to those required for hard helmets, but using a lower energy level.
