How Do Typhan XP2 Gloves Protect Your Hands?
XP2 Gloves protect against cuts using a steel core in combination with a thick polyurethane coating. This coating layers a tightly woven mesh of fibres that sit above a steel core.
This steel core is compact and dense, meaning the tip of a blade cannot easily pass between the gaps in its construction. Where a blade would normally tear through fabric fibres, this steel core jams the sharp tip of the knife, preventing it from reaching your skin in order to keep you safe.

Polyurethane Coating Benefits
Polyurethane is often used in cut-resistant gloves due to its incredible puncture and sharps resistance. It provides resistance against water and oil and is natural far more flexible than both latex and nitrile, giving the palm and fingers a greater degree of movement and flexibility whilst protecting against incisions and cutting.
Reinforced Thumb Crotch
A reinforced thumb crotch refers to the bolstering of the sloped crevice area between the thumb and index finger. This area is prone to tearing and splitting when manual handling, meaning reinforcement can help enhance the shelf life of a glove by a whopping 30%.
Incredible Cut Resistance
Typhan XP2 Gloves offer an incredible amount of resistance against knives, blades and other sharp implements. They will protect your hand from between 22 and 29.9 newtons of downward force administered by a blade. This means if your hand slips whilst cutting or you catch your hand with a knife, the steel core will protect your hand from damage.
