The Portwest SK22 are designed to provide additional flame and heat resistant protection along with other flame resistant garments. Tested and certified to EN ISO 14116  you can rely on these socks to keep your feet protected in hazardous work environments

The Portwest SK22 socks are made from Portwest's Modaflame fabric which features both inherent flame resistant and anti-static properties. The socks will keep your feet protected from electrostatic discharge.

The Portwest SK22 not only ensure safety but also provide comfort. The elasticated legs of these sock provide a snug fit for the wearer, whilst the heel and toe of the sock has extra padding that provides extra comfort to the wearer. The cotton content of the socks also ensure breathability for comfortable working all day long.

What Do These Certifications Mean?

• EN 14116: This standard specifies a test method for the materials allocated for use in manufacture of protective clothing with electrostatic dissipation to prevent incendiary discharges
• EN 1149-3: This standard explains that the safety apparel has been tested for its ability to discharge electrostatic charges to the air and therefore wont conduct it to the user of the garment
