Premium Quality Full Body Safety Wear
If you work in freezing, wet conditions, you'll know the value of full body safety wear. Wearing a separate jacket and trousers can leave parts of the body without adequate protection, which can result in coldness, irritation or even injury. A premium quality coverall like the Portwest PW353 Men's Black Winter Coveralls combine an incredible amount of premium features into a single, top-of-the-range piece of multi-functional, full-body safety wear.
Which Size Portwest PW353 Men's Coverall Is Right For Me?
If you're spending money on a premium quality coverall, you want to know it fits perfectly. There are a few measurements you need to take to ensure the coverall fits you correctly.
- First, take the circumference of your chest.
- Next, measure the distance between the back of your neck and your waist.
- Then, measure your leg hem opening.
- Finally, take your inside leg measurement.
When you're done, simply consult the sizing chart below to find your perfect size. If one of your measurements falls on a sizing boundary, we recommend choosing a size up for optimum flexibility and comfort.

Level of Protection
For a product or garment to be sold as safety wear in Europe, it must pass a series of stringent regulations that test just how much protection it offers. Please view the information and tables below to see a bit more about these regulations and to see how the PW353 performed when tested.
EN 342
EN 342 certifies products that are sold as being thermal, cold-resistant or as safe for use in freezing cold environments ranging from chill (-5°C) through to cold store (-25°) and deep freeze (-40°). The Portwest PW353 Winter Coveralls offer EN 342 certified protection against temperatures of up to -40°C.

Thermal Insulation | (0.344 (M².K/W) |
Air Permeability | 2 |

EN 343
EN 343 is a regulation that tests and assesses the waterproofing and breathability of a protective jacket or coat. It has three values which indicate these levels. The first number indicates the products waterproofness. The second number indicates the breathability of the product. The third value is represented by an R or an X. An R is used if the product has been tested in a downpour.
