This Portwest Helmet can prevent impact injuries to your head when you are working at heights. Its resilient ABS shell shields against blows to the top of the head, while its chin strap secures it in place, even if you are carrying out intensive manual work.

Electrical Insulation

The Portwest Helmet also offers electrical insulation from voltages up to 1000Vac or 1500Vdc. This feature is intended to protect your head against accidental contact with electricity.

Effective Protection in High or Low Temperatures

The Portwest PS53 Helmet is effective in temperatures between -30°C and 50°C. It therefore offers great value for money, as it can be used in every season regardless of the weather.

Will the PS53 Helmet Keep Me Warm?

The PS53 Helmet will maintain performance in very cold weather, but it won't provide thermal protection. However, they can be modified to keep you warm with either the PW47 or PS47 Portwest clip-on earmuffs.
