The Portwest overalls offer inherent protection from radiant, convective and contact heat and mid-level protection against molten iron under EN 11612. The bib and brace has been certified as providing class 1 welding protection, and has received an ARC2 arc flash rating, attenuating 80.4% of the heat resulting from an arc flash.
