What Do These Certifications Mean?

• BS 1542: This standard specifies the requirements for eye, face and neck protection against ionizing radiation arising during welding and associated operations
• EN 175: This standard specifies the requirements for eye and face protection for welding and related processes
• EN 379: This standard stands for lenses with automatic welding filters that switch their luminous transmittance to a lower predetermined value when an arc is ignited
• EN 166: This standard specifies the requirements for protective eyewear

The helmet will protect your eyes and face from ionizing radiation and other welding related hazards. When used with appropriate shade filters the helmet is auto-darkening, and the glass cover lens will protect against low energy impacts. The lens is of the highest optical quality and therefore is suitable for continuous wear.
