JSP FFP3 Disposable Mask (Box of 10)

The JSP FFP3 Disposable Mask (Box of 10) can be used to defend your respiratory system against high concentrations of dust, viruses and both solid and liquid aerosols. The masks are individually packed and fold flat for convenience when not in use.

What Certifications Has the Mask Received?

The mask has undergone a variety of tests so you can be sure of your safety at work. It has achieved the following certifications:

• EN 149: 2001 + A1: 2009

What Do These Certifications Mean?

• EN 149: This standard certifies whether a respiratory device offers protection against potential hazards

The mask is certified as meeting the requirements for the highest rating under EN 149. This means that the mask can be used to protect against high levels of dust, solid and liquid aerosols, hazardous powders, bacteria and asbestos. The mask protects against materials in concentrations 50 times the occupational exposure limit, and 20 times the minimum assigned protection factor. 

How Do I Use the JSP Mask?

The FFP3 valved face mask is easy to use, and you can get the mask on and off within seconds. To wear the mask correctly, please follow the below instructions as guidance:

1. Hold the mask in the palm of your hand with the nose bar pointing upwards and the straps handing down
2. Place the mask under your chin, covering your mouth and nose
3. Take the upper elastic strap and pass it around the back of your head before taking the lower strap and pass it round the back of your head
4. Mould the nose bar around the nose to seal it off completely
5. Check the seal by breathing out hard and ensure that there are no air leaks around the side of the mask
6. Dispose of the mask after a maximum of eight hours
