The Filterspec has several useful features. These include:

Who Can Use the Filterspec?
The Filterspec exceeds EN 149 for breathing resistance by more than half and has a filtration efficiency of 97%, meaning it can be worn for extended periods without discomfort. The activated carbon layer of the mask makes the Filterspec particularly useful for construction work, as it will filter out unpleasant odours such as paint and varnish. The mask can also be relied on to filter out a variety of harmful substances, some of which are listed below:

What Do These Certifications Mean?
- EN 149: This standard certifies whether a respiratory device offers protection against potential hazards
- EN 166: This standard specifies the requirements for protective eyewear
The Filterspec meets the requirements for the second class under EN 149, meaning that it has a filtration rate of over 94% and is suitable for protection against hazardous metal dusts. The glasses are of the highest optical class and suitable for continuous wear. They will shield the eyes from low energy high speed impacts of 45m/s.

How Do I Use the JSP Goggles?

Some verbal instructions are included below;
- Pull the unfastened elastic strap over the head and locate on the neck
- Place the Filterspec onto the face, ensuring the nose and mouth is covered
- Pull the plastic clips around the rear of the head and attach together
- Tension the elastic straps by pulling on the free ends, through the plastic clips, until a secure seal is achieved
- To check the fit, place both hands completely over the mask and inhale
- Readjust the mask if air leaks at the edge
