The RBP PX5 PAPR is a powered air purifying respirator which provides a constant source of breathable air and protection from airborne contaminants that can affect have health. Offering the latest in power air purifying technology, the PX5 is designed with new functional capabilities that help you perform in the workplace, as well as protect, while also enhancing your comfort.
How Does the RBP PX5 PAPR Unit Work?
The RPB PX5 is a battery powered air purifying respirator fan unit which draws in contaminated air from the wearer's immediate vicinity. It passes this contaminated air through internal filters, and supplies the filtered air to an approved RPB loose fitting respirator head top (not included).
How Do I Attach the PX5 PAPR?
With its no-fuss design the PX5 PAPR can be quickly attached, to ensure you are protected immediately and have access to breathable air. The unit simply attaches to the flexi-belt (fitted with either a standard belt or FR rated belt), via an intuitive mount lock system, and can be just as easily removed.
How Comfortable Is the PX5 Powered Air-Purifying Respirator?
The PX5 PAPR is designed has also been specifically designed with wearer comfort in mind. By strategically distributing its weight with its vertical mounting position and thanks to the support from the flexi-belt system, the PX5 is able to contour to your back for maximized comfort and stability during use.
Lightweight Design Helps Reduce Fatigue
Weighing just 1.16kg with a HEPA cartridge/filter fitted and between 1.65 Kg and 1.7 Kg with a gas cartridge/filter fitted, this lightweight unit won't weigh you down and cause fatigue, allowing you to be more productive during the day.

The PX5 PAPR cartridge/filter range that the PAPR unit accommodates includes OV/AG/HE and Multi-Gas cartridges, and A2P/ABE1P/ABEK1P filters, which are approved for organic vapors and gases such as solvents, and acidic vapors and gases. PX5 filter media removes up to 99.97% of particulates down to 0.12 microns for clean breathable air.
